Guidance for unenrolled learners and Catalog access

If a learner hasn't been enrolled for a course or program, we provide an explanation on the My Courses page, as well as a button to access the Catalog. This allows learners to explore the catalog and enroll for courses or programs. If the Catalog is not enabled in the selected tenant, we only display a message explaining why no courses are available on the My Courses page.

Certificate template management

Master Data Administrators can now manage certificate templates using a dedicated editor. This editor includes essential tools for generating downloadable and searchable certificates. Master Data Administrators can add placeholders for text, format text, import JPEG or other graphics files for backgrounds, and work with layers and layouts to create comprehensive learning records.

Applying certificates to objectives

Instructors or administrators can now select a pre-created certificate template for a specific course (objective). Once the course has been successfully completed and the required criteria met, learners receive the designated certificate. This certificate includes information such as the learner's name, course code, validity period and any other data specified in the certificate template.

Certificate issuance and learner access

When learners complete a course (objective) with an assigned certificate and meet the required conditions, they receive a certificate. Learners can view their current results and preview the certificate on the About the Course page. Certificates can be downloaded in a PDF format. In addition, learners can share the results page and downloadable certificate with all users, including those who are not registered.

Open Catalog for public access to selected courses

We've introduced the Open Catalog function, which enables selected courses to be publicly viewed via an open API. Instructors can now designate these courses and create an enrolment rule for a special Open Catalog unit. The Open Catalog page organizes these courses as a catalog, allowing users to browse the catalog, view course details, and select courses of interest. Once a course has been selected, users can start it after signing up as authorized users.

Integration with Credly

Administrators can now integrate Credly with our platform and add Credly badges and certificates to certificate templates in LMS. These templates can be assigned to courses or programs. When certificates are assigned to users, they are automatically synced with Credly and appear on the user's Credly profile.

Multiple certificates for course completion

Instructors can now configure courses or programs so that multiple certificates are issued on completion of the course. Certificates can be created within our platform or through external services like Credly. Each certificate can have its own set of conditions. After completing a course or program, users can view and share these certificates directly from the course or program page. External certificates link to their respective details page on the external service.

Certificate reporting

Instructors and managers can now view the number of certificates issued for each course and program in primary and customized reports. The primary report displays,  for successful and completed courses, a separate record for each certificate issued to a user. These records include the following information on the certificate template:

  • Name
  • Type (custom or external, e.g. Credly)
  • Issue date
  • Expiration date
  • Unique clickable code or ID: clicking on the ID gives access to full certificate information and a preview.

What's new with Constructor Assessment?

Overview

  • Text blocks in quizzes
  • New question template added

Text blocks in quizzes

We've added the ability to insert text blocks into quiz sections. These text blocks provide additional information, context or instructions for quiz participants. With the rich text editor, quiz authors can easily format text to ensure effective content presentation by applying bold, italic, bullet points, code blocks, formulas, and inserting images.

Text blocks can also be used to attach files. This allows authors to include relevant attachments that enhance the quiz experience and enable a full understanding of its content.

A text block has the same control elements as a question, enabling authors to:

  • Add a text block using the plus button
  • Drag and drop text blocks to reorganize them
  • Delete the text block from the quiz

New question template added

Authors can now include "Kprime" questions when creating or editing quizzes. A Kprime question consists of a question and four statements, for each of which the learner must choose whether it is true or false. Authors can provide feedback for each statement, which learners will receive once they have answered the question.
