Overview

In this release, we added the following features:

• RTL layout support
• Automatic classroom type assignment
• Learner enrollment in course term
• Automatic instructor updates in planning
• Current year as the default for new course terms
• Faster distribution processing

What's new

RTL layout support

Schedule now supports right-to-left layout behavior more consistently across the interface.

When an RTL language is active, Schedule can now apply the correct layout direction automatically across navigation menus, forms, tables, modals, and dropdowns. This improves the experience in RTL scenarios and lays the groundwork for Arabic and other RTL languages.

Automatic classroom type assignment

Schedule now keeps classroom types more consistent between course definitions and planning.

When a course has a defined classroom type, Schedule can automatically assign matching classrooms from the same campus in My Course Hours and My Exam Hours. When planners consistently use one classroom type during planning, Schedule can also write that type back to the course definition.

Learner enrollment in course term

Schedule now supports learner enrollment management in the course term workflow.

Users can view learner-course enrollment data with required fields such as unique ID, Student Number, full name, program code, and course details. Excel templates now support additional optional fields such as campus code, instructor code, education type, and excuse or disability information. Schedule also calculates a read-only learner count from enrollment data, and users can search by Student Number or unique ID to view a learner's full timetable.

Automatic instructor updates in planning

The planning area now updates instructor lists automatically based on course assignments.

When users add courses to planning, Schedule adds the assigned instructors to Planning > Instructors automatically. When all courses for an instructor are removed, Schedule removes that instructor from planning as well. This reduces manual maintenance and keeps the planning area focused on relevant instructors only.

Current year as the default for new course terms

The Add Course Term window now selects the current calendar year by default.

This reduces manual updates during term creation and helps prevent errors caused by outdated year values.

Faster distribution processing

Schedule now handles larger distribution operations more efficiently.

This update improves distribution performance and memory handling, which helps institutions process larger scheduling workloads more smoothly.

Fixed issues

We have addressed the following issues:

• Settings page saves: Issues affecting role restrictions, institution information, and faculty login methods have been fixed.
• Venue event reservation status in settings: The status now appears correctly.
• Planning pages and event period calendar: White screen errors have been fixed.
• Year selection fields: The fields now show the correct value and no longer display Object or outdated years that blocked period creation.
• RTL layout behavior: Issues with close buttons, button placement, text alignment, and page layouts have been fixed.
• Solution page filtering: Calendars now appear correctly when matching data exists.
• Exam calendar downloads: Download errors in production have been fixed.
• Event date modal: The modal no longer closes immediately after a date is selected.
• Switching between terms: Old period data no longer remains visible after changing terms.
• Login page language options: Language options now match the system language settings.
• Support team login through OIDC: Login errors have been fixed.
• Course time changes on the solution calendar: Updated course times now appear correctly on the solution calendar.
• Distribution execution: Solution submission errors that blocked distribution execution have been fixed.
• Editing courses without instructor assignments: The white screen error has been fixed.
• English error reports showing Turkish text: Language inconsistencies in error reports have been fixed.
• Second education start time picker: The time picker no longer always shows default values.
• Adding new programs to course forms: The white screen error has been fixed.
• Course combination display in course term planning: Display issues have been fixed.
• Campus code in downloaded reports: Campus code information now appears correctly.
• Login after gateway configuration changes: Authentication errors that blocked user login have been fixed.
• Language switcher on the login page: Design issues in the language field have been fixed.
• Excel uploads on the buildings page: Upload failures have been fixed.
• Report downloads stuck in pending: Report downloads now complete correctly.
• Public lesson and exam period views on the login page: Viewing errors have been fixed.
• Solution visibility for terms with created solutions: Solution visibility issues have been fixed.
• Notifications appearing in Turkish while English is selected: Notification language now matches the selected system language.
• Filtering interactions: Filters no longer require a second click to respond.
