Overview

In this release, we added the following features:

• Campus and building scope for Head of Program users
• Per-component exam details in CampusNet synchronization

We also fixed issues affecting Head of Program classroom scope on planning screens, Arabic right-to-left layout, and language selection in Constructor Cloud.

What's new

Campus and building scope for Head of Program users

Administrators can now restrict a Head of Program user to a specific set of classrooms through cascading Campus of Responsibility, Building of Responsibility, and Classroom of Responsibility fields on the Add User and Edit User form.

Each level narrows the next, and all three fields are optional. When the fields are left empty, the user continues to see all classrooms in the institution. When a scope is set, the Head of Program user sees and assigns only those classrooms while planning courses and exams.

This helps institutions delegate planning without giving every program manager access to the full room inventory. The restriction is enforced both in the interface and when the data is requested.

Per-component exam details in CampusNet synchronization

Courses that run more than one component in the same semester, such as an A group and a B group, now receive their own exam duration and exam type when course data is synchronized from CampusNet.

Previously, both components could receive the same exam record, which caused one of them to show incorrect values. Exam plans built from synchronized CampusNet data now match the source system for each component and remove a manual correction step for institutions using that integration.

Fixed issues

We have addressed the following issues:

• Head of Program classroom scope on planning screens: The classroom responsibility scope is now applied on Planning > Classrooms and in the Assign Classroom/Room dialog, matching the behavior on Term Definitions > Classrooms. Classrooms outside the scope are no longer visible or selectable. Tracking IDs: SCH-5547.
• Saved buildings missing when editing a Head of Program user: Building of Responsibility values saved for a Head of Program user now appear when that user is reopened for editing. Tracking IDs: SCH-5933.
• Language selection in Constructor Cloud: Changing the application language from the Constructor Cloud left navigation menu now updates the Schedule module as well. Tracking IDs: SCH-5861.
• Notification panel position in Arabic: The notification panel now opens on the left when the interface language is Arabic. Tracking IDs: SCH-5582.
• Synchronization layout in Arabic: Elements in the Synchronization section now follow the right-to-left layout when Arabic is selected. Tracking IDs: SCH-5467.
• Sketch Details arrows in Arabic: Navigation arrows on the Sketch Details page now point in the correct direction under a right-to-left layout. Tracking IDs: SCH-5468.
• Close icon position in Arabic: The close icon on a planned term now appears in the expected corner when the interface language is Arabic. Tracking IDs: SCH-5550.
