Overview

In this release, we added the following features:

Instructor staff type on the Solution screen
Student identity columns in exam reports
Classroom scope for the Head of Program role
Activity time-slot restriction for the Head of Program role
Instructor scheduling constraints in institution settings

We also fixed issues affecting settings, notifications, backups, image uploads, reports, and planning validations.

What's new

Instructor staff type on the Solution screen

Admin and Super Admin users now see each instructor's staff type as a compact suffix on the Solution screen.

Staff types such as (FT), (PT), and (PFT) now appear next to instructor names for these roles. Other roles continue to see instructor names without this detail.

Student identity columns in exam reports

Specific student exam reports now include student identity and enrolled-program columns at the beginning of the export.

The related student data workbook also includes a second worksheet with the additional columns, while the original worksheet remains unchanged for backward compatibility.

Classroom scope for the Head of Program role

Administrators can now assign an optional campus, building, and classroom scope to a Head of Program user from the Add User and Edit User form.

When a scope is set, that user sees and assigns only the scoped classrooms. Leaving the fields empty keeps the current behavior, where all classrooms remain available.

Activity time-slot restriction for the Head of Program role

A new institution setting now limits Head of Program users to selecting a single day, consecutive time slots, and a number of slots that matches the activity's Lecture Count.

The setting is off by default.

Instructor scheduling constraints in institution settings

Institution settings now include instructor scheduling constraints for minimum days and minimum consecutive slots.

The settings include explanatory tooltips to help administrators understand how the restrictions work.

Fixed issues

We have addressed the following issues:

Pages stuck in a loading state: Solutions, Users, and other affected pages now load correctly instead of remaining stuck. Tracking IDs: SCH-5105.
False "process continues" error during term copy: Copying a term no longer fails with a message saying another cloning process is still running when none exists. Tracking IDs: SCH-4999.
Backup restore failures: Restoring a backup now works as expected. Tracking IDs: SCH-4697.
Institution name and logo in exam attendance outputs: Exam attendance outputs now show the full institution name, center-align the column data, and accept the institution logo upload. Tracking IDs: SCH-5027.
Staff type missing from the invigilator timetable filter: The Filter by Instructors dropdown on the Invigilator Exam Timetable now shows each instructor's staff type for Admin and Super Admin users. Tracking IDs: SCH-5093.
Classroom scope fields shown too early for the Head of Program role: Campus, building, and classroom responsibility fields no longer appear for Head of Program before they are supported. Tracking IDs: SCH-5132.
Image upload validation and hint text: Campus image, campus map, and institution logo uploaders now enforce the supported formats and 5 MB size limit shown in the interface, and upload areas now display the supported formats and maximum file size. Tracking IDs: SCH-5008, SCH-4825.
Full-time instructor conditions hidden: When Configure full-time instructor conditions is enabled, the minimum days and minimum consecutive slots values now appear correctly. Tracking IDs: SCH-4832.
Wrong error messages on Settings > Definitions: The Definitions page now shows the specific message for each error instead of one generic message. Tracking IDs: SCH-4761.
Course duration had no upper limit: Course duration hours are now capped so a single course cannot exceed the allowed maximum. Tracking IDs: SCH-4763.
Definitions not sorted alphabetically: Items on Settings > Definitions are now sorted alphabetically. Tracking IDs: SCH-4724.
Save button hidden when adding a definition: The save button is now visible without scrolling when adding a definition item. Tracking IDs: SCH-4742.
Incorrect "Classroom" label in settings: The label now reads Classroom / Room. Tracking IDs: SCH-4743.
Wrong page title in the header: The header now shows the actual page name instead of Home. Tracking IDs: SCH-4738.
Missing download confirmation text on notifications: The report download prompt on the notifications page now shows its confirmation text. Tracking IDs: SCH-4808.
Layout shift after deleting a notification: Deleting a notification no longer causes text to overlap the date column. Tracking IDs: SCH-4806.
Missing version information field: The version information field now appears at the bottom of Settings > Definitions. Tracking IDs: SCH-4749.
Incorrect delete confirmation warning: The delete action now shows the correct confirmation warning. Tracking IDs: SCH-4746.
Public Modules not disabled with the venue module off: Turning off The venue and reservation module can be used now disables the related Public Modules options. Tracking IDs: SCH-4831.
Missing Order column on the backup page: The Order column now appears in the backup table. Tracking IDs: SCH-4802.
Backup page layout and character limit issues: The backup description now respects its 1,000-character limit, and the Save and Cancel buttons now follow the intended layout. Tracking IDs: SCH-4810.
Email field shown on settings: The email field no longer appears on the settings page. Tracking IDs: SCH-4824.
Horizontal scroll between pages: Navigating between pages no longer shows a horizontal scroll bar. Tracking IDs: SCH-4827.
Clipped row action icons in data grids: Row action icons in data grids are no longer clipped in production builds. Tracking IDs: SCH-4990.
