Overview

In this release, we added the following updates:

• Analytics page with Course and Exam dashboards
• Extended filters in planning modules
• OBS Exam Program Transfer report improvements
• Automatic backup before update operations
• Zero-student definition cleanup during course updates

What's new

Analytics page with Course and Exam dashboards

Schedule now includes a new Analytics section in the side menu.

The page provides separate Course and Exam dashboards powered by Metabase. Users can switch between dashboards using tabs in the header, while breadcrumb navigation shows the current location. Each dashboard displays a loading indicator while data loads and shows a clear error message if loading fails.

Extended filters in planning modules

Several planning screens now include additional filters to help users work with large data sets more efficiently.

Classroom Priority now includes a multi-select Program filter so faculty schedulers can select multiple programs under one faculty and prioritize classrooms for them together. Schedule also adds Administrative Position and Seating Type filters to related instructor and classroom screens.

OBS Exam Program Transfer report improvements

The OBS Exam Program Transfer report now shows all sections for courses with multiple sections that are merged during exam scheduling.

Previously, merged courses could appear as a single line in the report, which caused missing section data. Now, each section appears on a separate row. The report also respects the Show course opened sections in calendar and reports setting.

Automatic backup before update operations

Schedule now creates a backup automatically before users run Update Courses or Update Sections.

When a user clicks either button, the backup runs first and includes a descriptive label with the operation name, date and time, and an automatic backup tag. The update runs only after the backup finishes successfully. If the backup fails, Schedule blocks the update and shows an error message.

Zero-student definition cleanup during course updates

During course update operations, Schedule now removes course definitions where the learner count is zero.

This prevents distribution and Excel report errors caused by invalid zero-value placeholders. Removed definitions are logged and included in the update report so administrators can review the changes.

Fixed issues

We have addressed the following issues:

• Bulk Activity Splitter selection: The Select All checkbox now works correctly in the Bulk Activity Splitter course list.
• Panel User actions: Sketch and notification actions now work correctly for the Panel User role.
• Warning title language: Warning titles now appear in the selected language instead of Turkish.
• Staff User fields: Static definition fields no longer appear incorrectly for the Staff User role.
• Panel User columns: Unnecessary columns have been removed from Panel User views.
• Negative numeric values: The system no longer allows negative values to be saved in numeric fields.
• Courses with empty campus assignments: Errors for courses with empty campus assignments have been fixed.
• Exam attempt validation: The field for changing the number of exam attempts now applies validation restrictions correctly.
• Update buttons after changes: Update Section Values and Update Courses now respond correctly after changes are made.
• Activity Relationships page: The Activity Relationships page no longer shows a white screen error.
• Course and Section Update saves: Errors in the Course and Section Update area no longer block successful saves.
• Exam Period Template values: Exam Period Template no longer swaps Exam Type values 2 and 3.
• Education type filter during course period: Bulk selection no longer breaks education type filter results during the course period.
• Assign Classroom to Unassigned Courses: The Assign Classroom to Unassigned Courses button now works correctly.
• Planning view room details: Classroom and room type information now appears correctly in planning views.
• Copied term period data: Erroneous data no longer appears in copied term periods.
• Lessons in solution view: Lessons now appear correctly in the solution view.
• Transfer of distribution results to solution: Errors when transferring distribution results to the solution have been fixed.
• Pop-up buttons: An unnecessary button has been removed from the pop-up area.
• Menu dropdown alignment: Dropdown item names and icons are now aligned correctly.
• Filter design consistency: Newly added filters now display more consistently.
