Constructor Assess: 8 septembre, 2026

Overview

In this release, we added the following features:

• Audio previews while grading
• Final grades for assignments

We also fixed issues affecting assignment workflows, grading, and Assess localization.

What's new

Audio previews while grading

Instructors can now play audio submitted for assignments and free-form response questions directly in the grading interface.

The player supports M4A, WAV, MP3, AAC, AIFF, OGG, and FLAC files, so instructors no longer need to download supported submissions to review them.

Final grades for assignments

Instructors can now review and update a final grade for non-STEM assignments as either a percentage or points. Updating one value automatically updates the other, and changes are saved when the instructor leaves the field.

The grading view also shows whether the learner has passed or failed the assignment. When AI grading is available, generated scores can be used as the starting value and adjusted when needed.

We have addressed the following issues:

• Assignments can now be started and accept PDF attachments more reliably. Tracking IDs: LRN-17746, LRN-20992
