SwissDidac 2025 recap: digital learning, inclusive classrooms, and what educators need next

04 December, 2025

SwissDidac 2025 in Bern once again demonstrated how deeply digital learning tools are embedded in modern Swiss education. The fair brought together hundreds of educators, school leaders, researchers and EdTech innovators and offered a space for open discussions about real classroom challenges and forward-looking solutions.

Strong interest in evidence-based digital tools

Throughout the event, our booth attracted steady attention from teachers, special educators and school administrators. Many were already familiar with Grafari, Calcularis and the Writing Lab, sharing hands-on experiences from their classrooms. Others explored the tools for the first time and showed strong interest in structured, research-backed support for writing and mathematics, particularly tools that help automate foundational skills.

Real classroom impact highlighted by students

A particularly inspiring moment came when several students who currently use Calcularis in school visited our booth. They described how the program supports their daily learning, shared what they had achieved so far and confidently explained its features to other visitors. Their enthusiasm reflected how digital learning tools, when used regularly, can help students build stronger skills and greater confidence.

High demand for writing support: Grafari basics workshop

Our workshop on Grafari basics (classwide) exceeded expectations. Initially planned for 25 participants, it ultimately hosted 30 educators who were eager to learn more about classwide implementation, differentiation and structured support for writing acquisition. The strong interest showed that teachers want practical, ready-to-apply strategies that help them address diverse learning needs while keeping classes aligned.

Heterogeneous classrooms remain a top concern

A recurring theme in conversations was the growing diversity of learning profiles in today’s classrooms. Many teachers work with students who have dyslexia, dyscalculia, language-related challenges or general difficulties with automatisation. These challenges influence not only academic development but also students’ emotional wellbeing, a topic that came up frequently throughout the event.

Strengthening collaboration across countries

Many visitors mentioned that they had travelled long distances after receiving our email invitation. This strong response shows the high level of interest in classroom-ready, scientifically grounded learning tools and highlights the relevance of these topics for schools across the country.

A meaningful platform for progress

SwissDidac 2025 proved once again to be an important platform for reflection and exchange. The event demonstrated the growing role of digital learning in Swiss schools, the ongoing need for inclusive and differentiated teaching and the value of solutions that are both innovative and evidence-based.
