From June 18–20, Constructor Tech participated in Webit 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria—a global gathering that brings together leaders from technology, business, and policy to explore how innovation can address complex societal challenges.
Webit is often described as a space where tech meets purpose. While not without its limitations, the event offered a valuable platform for constructive dialogue—particularly in the areas of AI in education, governance of generative models, and cross-sector collaboration.
Our team—Radoš Mihailović, Viktor Atanasov Vasilev, Sevar Glavchovski, and Zeca Carvalho—attended key sessions and engaged in discussions around the ethical deployment of AI, the state of deep tech in Europe, and the evolving demands on educational systems.
The event’s core themes resonated with our strategic priorities:
While some panels felt overly high-level and occasionally lacked actionable depth, there were meaningful opportunities to connect with peers and stakeholders facing similar challenges across education, public infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
AI in education is moving from concept to requirement. Institutions are no longer asking if AI will shape learning—but how. The emphasis is shifting toward scalable systems that enhance quality, equity, and real-time adaptation. Constructor Tech’s modular infrastructure is designed to meet precisely this demand.
Regional ecosystems like Bulgaria are maturing—but still under the radar. The startup energy in Sofia is real, but international visibility and structural support remain inconsistent. Webit demonstrated this potential—but also reminded us that ecosystem building takes more than enthusiasm: it requires long-term, sustained collaboration.
The “trust gap” in AI is widening. From finance to learning, users and institutions are demanding explainability, traceability, and control. This reinforces our decision to build human-in-the-loop systems, and to focus on responsible, transparent design in all our products.
Cross-industry insights matter—but need better facilitation. Some of the most valuable moments happened informally, outside the main sessions. More structured matchmaking between sectors—especially education, sports, and AI—could make future editions of Webit even more impactful.
Didn’t get a chance to meet us at Webit 2025?
We’re always open to meaningful conversations. Let’s explore how we can collaborate to create more intelligent, inclusive, and impactful learning systems.
