Overview

In this release, we added the following features:

• Grade-level async activity relations
• Inherited time slots and classrooms after merges
• Expand and collapse controls in planning
• Clearer Excel status field guidance

What's new

Grade-level async activity relations

Schedule now supports automatic creation of async activity relations between mandatory courses across different grade levels.

Planners can use the Add Grade Level Activity Relation option to generate relations for selected grade combinations within a faculty and program. The system uses mandatory courses only, creates the async relations automatically, fills in package names and descriptions, and helps prevent duplicate entries.

Inherited time slots and classrooms after merges

When users merge activities or exams, Schedule can now carry over time slot and classroom assignments from the original items.

If all merged items use the same time slot and room, the new item inherits those values automatically. If the values differ, Schedule suggests the most common matching values and asks users to confirm them before completing the merge.

Expand and collapse controls in planning

The planning interface now includes expand and collapse controls on Planning > Course Hours and Classrooms and My Exam Hours and Classrooms.

This makes it easier to work with larger datasets and gives users more control over how much planning information is visible at one time.

Clearer Excel status field guidance

Excel templates now include clearer instructions for Status fields.

The updated guidance explains accepted values such as 0, 1, TRUE, FALSE, Active, and Passive. It also clarifies that empty status fields default to Active, which helps reduce upload errors and makes the templates easier to use without separate documentation.

Fixed issues

We have addressed the following issues:

• Pagination and page size updates: Record counts now update correctly when users change page sizes.
• Course data after upload in term definitions: Course data now loads correctly after successful uploads.
• Sketch, building, and campus images: Images now open correctly in the affected areas.
• Activity relation IDs: Activity relation IDs now appear correctly instead of always returning 0.
• Public course and exam period access: Unauthorized access errors in public views have been fixed.
• Default time selection: The system now uses the displayed time instead of the current system time.
• Exam times and classrooms filters: Filter issues on these pages have been fixed.
• Static Definitions after period selection: Term Definitions no longer appears incorrectly under Static Definitions.
• Manual data entry in Static Definitions: The 404 error has been fixed.
• Duplicating activities or branches: Related modals now close correctly in course planning.
• Term copying: Term copying now completes successfully.
