Stanislav Protasov expands leadership role at Constructor Tech to drive innovation and collaboration

Constructor Group is pleased to announce that Dr. Stanislav Protasov, President of Constructor University Bremen, will take on additional leadership roles as Co-CEO and President of Tech at Constructor Tech. This will allow Constructor Group Founder and Chairman Dr. Serg Bell to focus on the development of Constructor Group as a whole while fostering the development of Acronis and Virtuozzo. Dr. Protasov will be accelerating product and technology at Constructor Tech, delivering more engineering efficiency and efficiency for Constructor University.


Dr. Protasov’s new focus at Constructor Tech is critical for accelerating the company’s technological advancements and fostering deeper collaboration between Constructor Tech and Constructor University. Initiatives aimed at improving the all-in-one research and education platform offered by Constructor Tech will foster Constructor University financial sustainability and research developments via new product, technologies and methods while benefitting other institutions and organizations in the field. Dr. Protasov aims to create synergy between academia and tech, supporting academic excellence and talent development. While university laboratories and educational programs are aligned with cutting-edge developments in fields such as artificial intelligence and software engineering, Tech acquires the most advanced human workforce, industry expertise and fundamental research.

To support this transition, Sergei Kouzmine took the role of Chief of President Administration at Constructor University allowing Dr. Protasov to focus on his expanded responsibilities at Constructor Tech ensuring strong administrative leadership.


Dr. Bell embraced the strategic shift, “This decision will drive both the growth of Constructor Tech and the educational advancements of Constructor University accelerating product and technology development and benefiting a wider ecosystem of Constructor Knowledge, including Constructor Knowledge Labs, Cyber Labs and Software Labs. In the meantime, partial transition of Construction Tech CEO’s responsibilities to Stas will give me more time for developing Acronis’ product & technology & engineering strategy supporting its rapid growth ambitions spearheaded by latest opportunities in GenAI.”


This transition also allows Dr. Bell to devote more time to the strategic goals of Constructor Group (including Constructor Knowledge and Constructor Capital) and his portfolio companies such as Virtuozzo. Furthermore, Dr. Bell aims to support Acronis by leveraging Constructor Knowledge for talent, research, and development while Acronis being the best product Constructor Group research and education initiatives.
