Future Ready IB Schools Summit
3 October 2026
For IB school leaders, coordinators and educators in Türkiye: you’re invited to shape the future of education together
Saturday, 3 October 2026 · Nidakule, Levent / İstanbul · Free to attend, limited capacity
IB set its digital transformation strategy and published the Blueprint
AI principles published; final assessment must stay under human oversight
First online digital exams held
Digital exams opened for selected subjects
Goal set for all DP exams to run digitally
The first digital IB Diploma exams were completed in May 2026. From November 2026, digital exams open to every IB World School that chooses them. Shape your school’s roadmap together with Türkiye’s IB community.
In Türkiye the picture is even denser: the Ministry of National Education’s AI in Education Policy and Action Plan (2025-2029) is in force, and the Maarif Model is being rolled out in stages. IB schools manage both agendas (and the workload of a dual curriculum) at the same time.
The half-day program (09:00-13:30) is built around two keynote talks, classroom experiences from schools in Türkiye, and a hands-on laboratory masterclass.
This event is organized independently of the International Baccalaureate Organization; it is not endorsed or supported by the IB. International Baccalaureate, Baccalauréat International, Bachillerato Internacional and IB are registered trademarks of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
