Multiple True or False question type

More flexible, accurate assessment

We’ve unified the Kprime (True or False) format into a new Multiple True or False question type. Now, there are no limits on the number of answer options, and our updated scoring logic ensures precise evaluation.

Consistent, rubric-based AI grading - now with multi-file support

Our AI-powered grading engine now evaluates free-form assignments using instructor-created rubrics, ensuring fair and transparent scoring. Instructors can define detailed criteria, and the AI will automatically assess submissions—even when learners upload multiple files.

  • Supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, and TXT formats.
  • Instant, actionable feedback for both instructors and learners.
  • AI-generated comments and rubric scores are pushed directly to the grading interface.

Canvas LMS Integration for AI Grading

Constructor Assess now connects with Canvas LMS, enabling automatic AI-powered grading and feedback for learner submissions.

With this update, instructors can review AI-generated feedback and rubric-based scores directly in Canvas SpeedGrader, which removes the need for manual data transfers and makes grading faster and more consistent.

Key features include:

  • Automatic submission sync: Learner submissions made in Canvas are automatically sent to Constructor Assess for evaluation.
  • AI feedback in SpeedGrader: Rubric scores, comments, and detailed feedback generated by Assess are automatically pushed back to Canvas SpeedGrader for instructors to review.
  • Bi-directional integration: Canvas remains the central interface for both instructors and learners, while Assess handles evaluation and scoring in the background.
  • Supported formats: AI grading supports submissions in PDF, TXT, DOC, and DOCX formats.
