Course link for sharing
Improved time constraints for activities
Enhanced activity widget for authors
New compose library groundwork
Updated wording for class splits
Learners can now share courses with a simple link from the course page or My Courses, making it easier for colleagues to enroll or continue learning.
We've updated time restrictions to ensure learners can’t start activities outside the allowed periods, providing a more structured learning experience.
We’re laying the groundwork for a new Compose library, which will enable assignments to be added to both courses and programs. This will improve flexibility for both learners and instructors.
To enhance clarity, we’ve updated the steps for creating and editing class splits:
We’ve added the ability to include a list of group members in LTI requests for collaborative activities.
Authors can now view all activity details in the widget, allowing them to preview how activities will appear to learners within a course or program.
Admins can now control which widgets are enabled on Home page dashboards for each tenant, offering more customization options.
Waiting room for live mode
Session closed notification
Disable browser DevTools
Single feed for proctors
Detection of virtual cameras and static images
Autofill exam password for Canvas LTI integration
In live proctoring, after submitting a photo, learners are placed in a waiting room while awaiting further instructions from the proctor. The proctor can request another photo, ask to see the workspace, or allow entry to the exam. During this time, learners can chat or communicate via audio with the proctor.
If a proctor forcibly closes a live session, learners will now see a notification: "Your session has been closed by the proctor."
We’ve added functionality to block the developer console from being opened within the proctoring app, enhancing exam security.
Proctors can now view all incoming messages and technical issue notifications from learners in a single feed. This feed is accessible through a toggle at the top of the proctoring panel. To reply, simply click on the learner’s name or mark messages as read.
Our system now detects if a learner is using a virtual camera or if their camera image remains static. This check is done during the equipment check, preventing learners from proceeding with the exam if such issues are detected.
For secure proctored exams via LTI integration, we’ve implemented automatic password filling. The password is set in proctoring settings and auto-filled during the test, ensuring learners can only access the exam through the secure browser. This feature is available for LMSs like D2L and Canvas.
Domain and topic assignment for questions
Fill in the blank question type
Surveys functionality
AI-generated quizzes
Automatically generated feedback
Authors can now tag questions with domains and topics, making it easier to organize and find relevant content.
We’ve added the "Fill in the Blank" question type, allowing for a more interactive and detailed assessment.
Authors can now create surveys with multiple question types, including multiple choice and free format. Surveys can be anonymous and reused across different objectives.
Educators can now automatically generate quizzes from uploaded materials, saving time on content creation.
Our system now auto-grades free format responses and provides detailed feedback, streamlining the grading process for instructors.
