In this release, we’ve added the following feature:
What's new
Secure Browser modes
When setting up proctoring for assessments, instructors can now select a Secure Browser mode. The available modes are:
- Basic — standard proctoring setup with minimal restrictions. Examinees can close or minimize the Secure Browser and access other applications
- Medium — administrators can configure a list of permitted applications and a block list to restrict unauthorized ones. Examinees may minimize the Secure Browser, use allowed applications for exercises, and then return to complete the exam.
- High — Examinees cannot close or minimize the Secure Browser until the exam is completed. The use of any other applications is strictly prohibited, ensuring maximum exam security and integrity
When enabling Secure Browser, instructors can also select the level of video support:
- Default — the default proctoring video settings are applied.
- No Video — no video is recorded during exams.
- No AI Detection — disables AI and automatic violation detection.
