Overview

In this release, we introduced new features for more dynamic and interactive sessions. We also improved camera and video conferencing capabilities, mobile layouts, and chat functionality.

What's new

• Create multiple sessions at once: You can now create multiple sessions in one operation.
• External session links: You can now generate external links for sessions, which makes it easier to invite guests.
• Chat message timestamps: Chat messages now display timestamps.
• Session tags for search: You can now add tags to sessions to make them easier to find and organize.
• Scroll-to-load chat history: In chat, you can now scroll to the top of the message list to load older messages.

Improvements and fixes

Improvements

We’ve made the following improvements:

• Camera and video experience:
  • Improved camera usage and layout, especially for sessions with multiple participants.
  • Added video aspect ratio controls.
  • Fixed a screen sharing issue in Firefox.
• Mobile experience:
  • Fixed an issue where the login screen overflowed on mobile devices.
  • Improved the layout of the management dashboard on mobile devices.
  • Fixed a menu display issue, especially on tablets.
• Session and user management:
  • You can now set a default duration for new sessions.
  • Added email and phone number validation on the My Profile page.

Fixes

We’ve made the following fixes:

• Instructor session visibility: Fixed an issue where instructors could not see sessions they created on their homepage.
• Screen sharing: Fixed an issue that affected screen sharing functionality.
• UI and layout:
  • Fixed an issue where floating video did not display correctly on mobile.
  • Fixed an issue with whiteboard drawing tools.
  • Fixed an issue where the login screen overflowed on mobile devices.
