Constructor Groups: December 28, 2025

Overview

In this release, we improved system stability, resolved critical issues, and enhanced session management and UI behavior across the Groups platform.

The key changes are:

• Session management improvements
• UI/UX fixes across dashboard and mobile interfaces

Fixed issues

We made the following fixes:

• Breakout room editing not working: Instructors can now edit breakout room settings during live sessions, with changes properly saved and applied.
• Blocked guests rejoining sessions: Blocked participants can no longer rejoin sessions until restrictions are removed.
• Missing error message for learners without Groups permissions: Learners without the Groups Learner role now see a clear error message instead of a backend error.
• Session error when moderator deleted: Rooms remain accessible even after the moderator is deleted, without server errors.
• Authenticated login blocked after guest join: Users can now switch from guest to authenticated (IDP) login without issues.
• Audio playing on "Continue here" page: Session audio no longer plays when users are on the Continue here page.
• Translation key in pre-added breakouts: Flow creation now displays proper text instead of translation keys.
• Live status position shifting: The Live status indicator now remains fixed and no longer shifts during updates.
• Names with dots recognized as links in chat: Names containing dots are no longer incorrectly formatted as links.
• Mobile dashboard tab selection: The correct tab is now highlighted when switching sections on mobile.
• Excel import validation inconsistency: Excel imports now follow the same validation rules as manual user creation.
• Camera visibility in mobile replays: Cameras now load correctly in mobile replays instead of showing blank screens or spinners.
• Role confusion for dual-role users: The system now prioritizes the highest role when users join with multiple roles, preventing replay access issues.
