Overview

IN this release, we introduced gamification with a new point-scoring system to boost engagement. We've also shipped a next-generation media server solution (Chorba) for improved performance and made critical fixes to session replays and drawing tools.

What's new

• Gamification: point scoring: A new Point Scoring feature is now available. Instructors can enable this feature to award points to participants for engagement, with a leaderboard displayed in the session for instructors.
• Next-generation media server (Chorba): We've introduced a new media server. This upgrade is designed for better performance, stability, and future scalability.

Improvements and fixes

Improvements

We’ve made the following improvements:

• Reconnect from lobby: Users who get disconnected can now rejoin the session directly from the lobby without needing to re-enter their details.
• Student camera privacy: An option has been added allowing students to see only their own camera, not other students' cameras.

Fixes

We’ve made the following fixes:

• Drawing tools:
  • Fixed a critical issue where drawings appeared incomplete or broken, especially on iOS.
  • Fixed a bug where deleted shapes reappeared when a PDF document was rotated.
  • Resolved an issue where the arrow tool did not rotate with the document.
• Session replay:
  • Fixed a bug preventing draggable elements from being moved in replays.
  • Corrected an issue where audio did not play in iOS replays.
