Overview

In this release, we introduced new tools for instructors, including a pointer tool for presentations and the ability to remove participants from a session. We also improved video handling and enhanced the whiteboard and PDF viewer.

What's new

• Whiteboard pointer tool: A new laser pointer tool is available in the whiteboard, allowing presenters to highlight specific areas of a document.
• Remove participant from session: Instructors can now remove participants from a live session.
• Reset password button: A Reset Password button is now available in the user editing form in the admin panel, allowing admins to send a password reset email.

Improvements and fixes

Improvements

We’ve made the following improvements:

• PDF viewer toolbox: The PDF viewer now includes a dedicated toolbox for zooming and navigation, providing a more intuitive experience.
• Session deletion email: When deleting a session, users can now choose to notify participants via email.
• Audio detection: The system now requires at least one second of speaking before automatically passing presentation priority to another speaker.

Fixes

We’ve made the following fixes:

• Whiteboard performance: Fixed an issue where the pen tool could cause the whiteboard to freeze.
• Question module:
  • Fixed a bug that allowed identical answer choices to be created.
  • Fixed an issue where the search box closed unexpectedly.
• Session replay: Fixed an issue where microphone status appeared incorrectly for mobile users in replays.
• Bugs:
  • Fixed an issue preventing the deletion of sessions from sending an email notification.
  • Resolved a problem with the "Raise Hand" feature not working correctly with its associated setting.
  • Addressed a bug where Chrome version detection was not working as expected for session entry.
