Overview

In this release, we've added the following features:

• Improved Knowledge Model prompt configuration
• Collaboration access management for Knowledge Models

We also fixed issues affecting AI Tutor answers, Knowledge Model previews and summaries, widget behavior, feedback analytics, file indexing, guide links, and collaborator access stability.

What's new

Improved Knowledge Model prompt configuration

Knowledge Model Owners can now manage the model system prompt as a single full prompt instead of separate prompt blocks.

This makes prompt configuration clearer and helps ensure the same prompt is applied consistently across Knowledge Model chat engines. Default prompts continue to be used unless a custom prompt is saved.

For legacy chat engines, per-model system prompt customization is no longer available. These engines use their built-in default prompt, and previous custom prompt text for those engines cannot be restored.

Collaboration access management for Knowledge Models

Knowledge Model Owners can now manage collaborator access from the Knowledge Model settings. Owners can invite users from the same organization with Can Edit access and revoke existing access from the collaboration interface.

Collaborators with the Can Edit access can upload, edit, and delete documents, change model settings and prompts, manage Q&A pairs, view analytics, chat with the model, and invite or remove collaborators. Deleting the model remains available only to the model owner.

Owners can set a collaborator to Inactive to pause editing rights while keeping read and chat access, or remove the collaborator to revoke access completely.

This release also includes fixes that help shared Knowledge Models open more reliably for collaborators and keep collaborator sessions stable during owner uploads and publishing.

Known issues

The following collaboration limitations remain:

• Shared models appear in My models together with the user's own models. There is no separate Shared with me grouping yet.
• The model owner and permission level are not shown in the model list.
• The model owner is not shown inside a model shared with you.
• The ... menu on a shared model row may appear empty. Open the model by clicking its name or row.
• Invite and removal emails for collaborators are not delivered yet.
• Cross-organization invite error wording will be clarified in an upcoming update.

Fixed issues

We made the following fixes and improvements:

• AI Tutor answers now use available course context more reliably instead of returning unsupported answers or saying that information is unavailable. Tracking IDs: ROL-16200
• PDF previews and PowerPoint summaries in Knowledge Models now work more reliably. Tracking IDs: ROL-16777, ROL-16436
• Knowledge Models now answer questions about numeric information in uploaded graphs more reliably. Tracking IDs: ROL-16435
• File indexing behavior has been improved so files are not shown as ready before their content can be used in answers. Tracking IDs: ROL-16456, ROL-16173
• Feedback analytics now include sessions for Career Adviser knowledge models. Tracking IDs: ROL-16004
• Knowledge Model widget cover images, widget status text, and widget customization layout have been corrected. Tracking IDs: ROL-15992, ROL-16181, ROL-16177
• The Add LLM menu now opens correctly. Tracking IDs: ROL-16467
• User guide links from Model pages now open the correct documentation. Tracking IDs: ROL-16147
