Overview

In this release, we've added the following features:

• Accessibility improvements
• Improved prohibited device detection
• New learner joined notification

What's new

Accessibility improvements

We implemented several accessibility improvements in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

These updates include proper page headers, better keyboard navigation, text alternatives for non-text content, a Skip to Main Content link, improved color contrast, zoom support up to 200%, and clearer error identification with form validation suggestions.

Improved prohibited device detection

We updated the model used to detect prohibited devices such as phones and headphones in videos.

The new model is more accurate than the previous version while maintaining a good balance between speed and accuracy. It is used in the learner web application during live proctoring and in server-side post-processing when real-time detection cannot be completed on the learner's device.

New learner joined notification

Live proctors now receive a notification when a new learner joins the room.

This makes it easier to track new arrivals during a live proctoring session.

Fixes

We've fixed the following issues:

• An issue that prevented downloading the session report from the video page in the archive.
• An issue where the stream presets parameter was missing from the LTI adapter settings.
