Overview

In this release, we added the following feature:

• Section-level course import from CampusNet

We also fixed issues affecting course changes at large institutions, automatic room assignment, user administration, Constructor Cloud access, localized interfaces, and installer-based deployments.

What's new

Section-level course import from CampusNet

CampusNet term-course synchronization now creates one activity for each small group instead of merging all small groups of a module into one activity.

Section names, lesson counts, student counts, and classes are imported from the source module group, so imported courses match the source data more closely. When students from several programs share the same group and instructor, the group remains a single activity and lists all related programs.

Fixed issues

We made the following fixes and improvements:

• Course changes at large institutions: After the initial load, opening a course, selecting a time slot, and saving a change no longer waits for distribution data to load again. Tracking IDs: SCH-6049, SCH-6081.
• Automatic room assignment for late time slots: The room search now continues from the end to the beginning of the week, so courses in late time slots can be assigned to suitable available rooms. Tracking IDs: SCH-6371.
• Excel updates for Head of Program users: Updating a user with an existing Classroom of Responsibility through Excel now succeeds. Tracking IDs: SCH-6026.
• Downloads in Arabic: Reports and exports now download correctly when Arabic is selected. Tracking IDs: SCH-6027.
• Schedule access in Constructor Cloud: Administrators now open the Schedule content instead of the public page. Tracking IDs: SCH-6030, SCH-6044.
• Staff-only pages shown to learners: The Schedule panel is now tied to the signed-in user, preventing a learner from viewing an administrator panel left open in the same browser. Tracking IDs: SCH-6126, SCH-6127.
• Schedule permission notices: A permission denial for the Schedule panel now displays a notice without signing the user out of Constructor Cloud. Tracking IDs: SCH-5860.
• Users page filters: Closing the Edit User modal no longer clears the selected filters, sorting, or current page. Tracking IDs: SCH-5561.
• Solution page Calendar filter: Reset now clears the selected Calendar value together with the other filters. Tracking IDs: SCH-5562.
• Dashboard term selector: The Dashboard now lists Course Terms only, because it supports course planning data. Tracking IDs: SCH-5976.
• Localized confirmation messages: The password-change confirmation now follows the selected interface language. Tracking IDs: SCH-6238.
• Chinese interface labels: The synchronization jobs list now displays translated column names in Chinese. Tracking IDs: SCH-5485.
• Login dialog layout: The close icon now has the expected spacing in the login dialog. Tracking IDs: SCH-5756.
• Distribution on installer-based deployments: Course and exam distributions can now start successfully. Tracking IDs: SCH-6603.
• Clearer validation feedback: Several workflows, including password reset, program and user creation, faculty updates, campus distances, backup updates, and dashboard reports, now show clear validation messages instead of server errors. Tracking IDs: SCH-6224, SCH-6366, SCH-6221, SCH-6219, SCH-6220, SCH-6293.
• Search, import, and term validation: Terms cannot be created without a name, exam-period searches with no matches no longer return the full list, JSON imports preserve the documented field structure, and public endpoints use consistent capitalization.
