Overview

In this release, we added the following features:

• Smart bulk course merger
• Learner enrollment in course term
• Constructor Platform integration
• Activity relationship status display

What's new

Smart bulk course merger

Planners can now merge multiple courses more efficiently from the planning area.

The feature includes filters for instructor, course name or code, faculty, grade, section, and classroom to help users find merge candidates more quickly. A preview area shows merge groups before the change is applied. After users confirm the merge, Schedule updates instructor assignments, hours, rooms, and the planning view automatically.

Learner enrollment in course term

Learner enrollment is now available in the course term workflow.

Users can upload learner-course enrollment data with expanded Excel templates that include optional fields such as course name, campus code, instructor code, education type, course type, course opened ID, and excuse or disability information. Schedule can create missing courses from learner lists, remove courses without enrolled learners, and show enrolled learner counts in course details. Users can also search manually by Student Number or unique ID to review a learner's course schedule.

Constructor Platform integration

Schedule now supports unified access through Constructor Platform.

This update aligns authentication and roles with the broader platform experience and supports single sign-on across Constructor products. It also improves consistency in user access and platform-wide account management.

Activity relationship status display

Schedule now shows activity relationship details before users start related actions.

Users can see relationship types directly in course lists and detail views, which helps them identify linked activities earlier and avoid invalid operations during planning.

Fixed issues

We have addressed the following issues:

• Automatic classroom assignment conflicts: Courses are no longer assigned to the same classroom in the same time slot because of outdated distribution data.
• Course changes in planning: Errors that affected updates to individual courses in certain planning cases have been fixed.
• Excel uploads in learner enrollment: Missing fields now appear correctly when users upload Excel files to learner enrollment tables.
• Large Excel upload performance: Upload speed has improved for large course, instructor, and learner files.
• Synchronization Excel templates: Templates now include the newer fields that were previously missing.
• Activity relationship loading in course term: Activity relationship information now loads correctly on planning and course tabs.
