Haliç University in Istanbul coordinates more than 350 teaching spaces and close to 500 academics. Students can take courses outside their departments, from swimming to opera, making timetable clashes difficult to manage in Excel.
Since 2022, its team has used Constructor Schedule to plan centrally around each student. Course clashes, room availability, capacity, and time constraints are checked together. Staff can follow one process instead of comparing separate files.

In 2024, the university modeled its campus needs for 2025. The team tested instructor requirements, classrooms, and department quotas to understand how many departments and students the campus could accommodate. That planning supported the opening of 21 departments.
The university also reports classroom occupancy rising from 72% to 78%.
“Aslında planlamayı, elimizdeki kıt kaynakların daha doğru ve verimli kullanılması olarak da tanımlayabiliriz.”
English translation: “Planning can actually be defined as using the scarce resources we have more accurately and more efficiently.”
