What's new
Drawing responses for Free format response questions
Authors can now add a blank canvas or an uploaded image to a Free format response question. They can prepare the canvas with drawing tools and choose whether it is displayed in the question, in the learner's answer field, or in both places.
Learners can draw on the canvas using a mouse, touchpad, touchscreen, or stylus. Their drawing is saved with the submitted response and is available to instructors during manual grading.
For more information, see Creating Free format response questions.

Plagiarism information for AI grading
For tenants with the Turnitin integration enabled, Assess now sends available plagiarism reports and similarity scores to the AI grading service for assignment submissions. This gives the AI grader plagiarism information when it generates an initial score and feedback.
