In this release, we’ve added the following features:
Now the chat between the learner and the proctor in the video archive displays the first and last name (or username) of the proctor who communicated with the learner. This is useful when several proctors were connected to a session and it is necessary to determine exactly who sent a specific message or alert.
If there is no sound from the learner’s microphone, the system automatically detects this and creates a warning. The warning is sent to the live proctor and recorded in the video archive for subsequent analysis.
To prevent exams from being taken without proctoring, administrators can configure a password for the exam in Blackboard.
When a learner attempts to start the exam without proctoring, Blackboard prompts for the password. If the learner does not have the password, they will not be able to start the quiz.
For proctored exams, Proctor automatically retrieves the exam password from Blackboard and enters it when the session starts. This allows the learner to begin the exam while ensuring the exam remains protected.
We have added a new Constructor One theme for the learner application that uses the same styles, colors, and fonts as the other Constructor applications. This helps unify the learner's journey in the Constructor applications and ensures consistent experience across different scenarios.
We have updated the voice detection model to improve accuracy. The system now recognizes whispers and can identify speech even when background music is playing.
