Branding for dashboards
Collaborative assignments
A public storage solution for content on the About page of a course has been implemented. Instructors and authors can now add objectives and file attachments (PDFs and others) accessible to non-authorized users viewing the page in the open catalog.
Branding capabilities have been introduced for the learner and instructor dashboards.
Enhanced descriptions for publicly accessible courses and programs are now available. We have also added support for generating links to content hosted across multiple web domains, and resolved inconsistencies in our course edit
Accessibility changes in Proctor SDK We've updated our SDK with new functionality to accommodate users with color blindness or visual impairments who wish to take proctored examinations.
The Proctor SDK now:
Is compatible with screen readers.
Supports keyboard shortcuts for quick access to content, including switching between screens and
controlling elements on the page.
Updated document detection model
We’ve updated the model responsible for detecting documents in ID photos submitted by learners during exam authorization. The system now more accurately identifies whether a photo contains a valid document or a random object.
User Agreement update
We have changed the text of the proctoring system user agreement and added links to our company's Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. Learners must review and agree to these documents before proceeding to a proctored test.
Likert scale question type added
Passing and grading assignments interface
Rating question type added
Assignment as a new activity type
Selecting a language for quiz generation
Subscription cancellation options
AI-grading of assignments
The Likert scale is a rating tool used to measure survey participants' opinions, attitudes, motivations, and more. Authors can specify up to 30 statements within a single question and provide up to 7 scale values for responses.
The assignment passing interface is similar to the quiz interface and provides a user-friendly experience for learners. Assignments can be submitted as text or as an attached file
We've added a new question type, Rating, to surveys to make it easier to gather feedback from learners.Authors can set the lowest and highest points of the scale and provide labels for them.
Authors can create assignments with specific instructions, deadlines, and grading criteria. Each assignment consists of a text description and may also include attachments such as files, images, links, or formulas.
Now quiz authors can define the language in which they want a quiz to be generated. This feature allows the selected language to differ from the language of the uploaded materials or the instructions provided, which offers greater flexibility for multilingual content creation.
Assess and Proctor bundle users can now cancel their subscriptions directly through the interface. Subscriptions may also be automatically suspended if a payment fails. Users can track their subscription status on the billing page and restore their subscription if needed.
Once a learner submits their response to an assignment, it is sent to the AI module for grading and feedback generation. The instructor can review the generated grade and feedback, accept them as is, edit them, or create their own from scratch. Only grades manually validated by the instructor are sent to the learner.
Updates to the Rooms page
We are pleased to announce updates to the Rooms page for managing live proctoring sessions.
The key improvements include:
Unified design – refreshed styles of the page now align with the Proctor interface.
Action Required notifications – administrators will see an Action Required badge on a room’s card when assistance is needed.
Learner transfers – administrators can now move learners between rooms if necessary.
Screen size check in the new web application
Learners taking a proctored test will now receive a full-screen notification if they minimize their screen. This notification prompts them to return to full-screen mode. Test questions remain inaccessible until the screen is restored to the required size.
Time zone selection in session reports
Session reports are now generated using the same time zone displayed in the UI. Users can adjust the time zone for a report if needed, and the report will automatically regenerate to reflect the change.
