Overview

In this release, we made the following improvements:

• Host filtering and participant tracking in sessions
• Customizable time format preferences
• Localized error messages

We also improved Canvas LMS integration and grading behavior and made multiple fixes for sessions replay, device display, and performance.

What's new

Host filtering and participant tracking in sessions

Admins and instructors can now filter sessions by host directly from the Sessions list. A new Host column displays session hosts with support for multiple hosts, and selecting a host applies a filter to show only their sessions.

The Participants column now shows actual attendance versus total enrolled users (for example, “3/35”), providing clearer visibility into session engagement.

Customizable time format preferences

Users can now choose between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour time formats in their profile settings, which overrides the system default. Administrators can configure the default format at the system level.

This ensures consistent time display across sessions, reports, and listings, while allowing regional preferences.

Localized error messages

Error messages now consistently display in the user’s selected interface language, improving clarity in multilingual environments.

Fixed issues

• Canvas LMS JWT validation error: Fixed an issue where JWT validation failed after session creation in Canvas integration.
• Session editing restriction for short sessions: Users can now edit ended sessions regardless of duration.
• Session replay synchronization: Fixed synchronization issues in session replays.
• Device name display alignment: Fixed alignment of device names on onboarding and session settings screens.
• Multilingual error message consistency: Fixed backend error messages displaying in a different language than the UI.
• Instructor access to Rooms: Instructors can now access the Rooms page and create rooms as expected.
• File sharing zoom controls: Fixed zoom in and zoom out functionality for shared files in live sessions.
• Question character limit validation: Enforced a minimum value of 1 for character limits in Sort answer questions.
• Question image upload validation: Added validation for image size limits with proper error messages.
• Think Fast feature frequency: Fixed the feature to trigger multiple times based on the configured interval.
• Show everybody toggle: Restored the Don’t show everybody option in the session footer.
• Browser version compatibility warning: Added a warning for Chrome versions below 110.
• Login page loading state: Fixed an issue where the login page remained stuck in a loading state.
• Question form error message spacing: Improved spacing for better readability.
• Password reset link copying: Fixed email formatting to allow full link copying.
• Arabic device name display: Fixed truncation issues for device names in Arabic.
• Emoji rendering in single videos: Fixed emoji rendering in video conversions to match live sessions and replays.
