The recent Graphene Conference held in Manchester, UK, from June 27 to 30, 2023, brought together some of the brightest minds in the field of graphene and 2D materials research. Among the notable highlights was the presentation by Konstantin Novoselov, showcasing his research and newest publication on 2D materials, which was conducted using the Constructor Research platform. This platform offers researchers studying defects in 2D materials an array of powerful tools and functionalities, significantly enhancing their research capabilities.

A team under leadership of Kostya Novoselov and Andrey Ustyuzhanin published a paper “Sparse representation for machine learning the properties of defects in 2D materials” in a prestigious journal npj Computational Materials. The code and the trained model weights are available at Constructor Research Platform.
